I love your plugin. It would be great to have a %(pendingfriendrequests)% similar to %(unreadmessagecount)%, but it would show the number of pending friend requests. Is this possible?

nevermind! I was able to do this myself following this great tutorial:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/quick-fix-to-add-support-for-notifications

and using bp_friend_get_total_requests_count()
