feature request – placeholder text

    It would be nice if we could add placeholder text in the fields.

    For example – I have a series of number fields – but where you type the number, I would like to write the format information – something like Quantity (E.G. 900,000)

    This would not impact the field data and would disappear as someone fills out the field. Also it would be styled differently – likely smaller/lighter text.

    Thanks for considering – and keep up the great work!

    Hi,

    I see, never thought of that a placeholder text should should contain anything regardless of the field type. This seems like a nice idea.

    Noted it as a todo to research on this feature further.

    👍 voting for placeholders! Placeholders would allow to implement forms without any labels to drastically reduce the overall size of forms.
