Feature request – post edit controls using usergroups

    basically, what i’m after is a kind of combination of edit flow &
    co-authors plus, so that authors can be grouped together in user
    groups, and then as a one-click action be all set as authors & editors
    to that post (ideally set themselves), so that, say, authors and
    editors in the sport group can only edit and publish sport content,
    and authors and editors in the politics group can only edit and
    publish politics content.

    doable?

    Could be doable. Post by post user permissions could potentially be pretty difficult because of the complexity involved.

    Before we talk about how it’d be done, can you describe your current setup in depth? Specifically, number of people using WordPress, what your workflow looks like, and where the problems are?
