As you noticed, that is not possible at the moment.
I am thinking about a more advanced user management option, but I want to do it right, and not just add ‘something’.
What would you like to see if such feature would be in the plugin?
I was thinking about:
– Select specific users that can see the note
– Select roles that can see the note

Thank you for considering the request, your efforts are greatly appreciated.
I am hoping to use this plugin in an K12 education setting, whereby teachers and students can add notes to their dashboard.
However, I would like the teacher to be able to add a note into selected students dashboards. Therefore, the Select specific users that can see note would be best in my scenario.

Can’t say when something would be introduced, just made a start on it, but takes quite some time..

Agreed, great feature request. If you do implement this, it would be nice to see a tag on the note (maybe on top) to show it’s visibility.
How do you see ‘a tag on the note’ visualised? Like a icon displaying something or …?

In addition to tagging someone, would be nice if there is a way to notify them via email.
A couple of small features/ideas to add to your list:
1. a confirmation window when clicking the trash can by accident
2. when adding a new note, can it be added just below the current note and not at the bottom of the dashboard?
