Feature request: Trash own replies

    You recently introduced an option for users to be able to trash their own topics. Nice!

    I would like users to be able to trash their own replies. Can you add that as an additional separate a please?

    Rational: Suppose someone posts a reply that is subsequently shown to be mis-informed. It would be good if the user could trash it rather than have to leave a “Sorry – that was not the case” further reply.

    Thanks for a very prompt response. Great!

    I am concerned, however, about unleashing this on my users. One click or tap and the topic/reply is gone forever, with no way back – although an admin can restore it, if asked.

    Other actions like Edit give the user a way back. Might it be possible to ask “Are you sure?” as a check against accidental action? If this is technically difficult, we would have to rely on the user knowing they can ask an admin to restore it.

    Perhaps better would be to allow an ordinary user to see their own trashed items, which includes restore and delete buttons.
