I am building a website with user-aggregated reviews for online teaching companies. This means I need to use the “Organization” schema type. In the article, Google said: “Sites that gather user-generated reviews can show up with review snippets in search results.”.
This means you need to:
1. Add the ‘Organization’ schema to ‘Visitor Multi Set’ and ‘Visitor Votes’.
2. Once you do this, users can vote on jobs and employers, and Google will then display these user-generated reviews for the ‘Organization’ in the search results. Google will not show a star rating when ‘Overall Rating’ is used.
Therefore, the reviews for ‘Organizations’ need to be user-generated. I need to use the schema type ‘Organization’ for Visitor Multi Sets and Visitor Votes.

Hello scratchmaster, yep, Organization schema type it’s in my todo list; right now, I’m rewriting a lot of code to make YASR faster and easier to implement the new schema type.

Hi Dudo,
I want my users to vote on 9 elements with a [Visitor Multiset] shortcode, and an overall rating with a [Visitor Votes] code.
Can I use these two shortcodes next to each other?
This means that I can show the [visitor votes] shortcode in search directories with less space. I can show both shortcodes together on the main organization page where there is more space.
If I display visitor votes next to visitor multiset, how will it affect schema? Will Google take the [visitor votes] schema or the [visitor multiset] schema? Is there a way to turn off the schema for the multiset (so that it doesn’t clash or send data to Google)?
I think this is an issue we need to understand 🙂

MultiSet doesn’t generate schema, so it will be from yasr_visitor_votes.

You stated on these threads 8 months and 2 weeks ago that you had already started working on the structured data/schema. You also said you had no ETA at that time.
7 months later you are asking for feature requests.
That was the very first thing requested AGAIN only this time instead of claiming you had already started working on it, you claim its on the to do list but that a complete rewrite is needed…. which is actually not really true. You need to ask users for a few more details (for example sku’s if type is product) but for the most part its just the feed that needs updated to add tins like desc which could already be gathered from the post itself.
The fact 8 and a half months later you have changed “working on it” to “on the to do list” and the fact you asked for feature requests while claiming you are doing a complete rewrite makes me think none of this is actually true.

No, it’s not really true.
But to have a good final product a lot of preliminary work were needed.
And I’m doing that, as you can see in the development log.
Lol not unless you are @scratchmaster. He is the first one to request it in this thread, and the first comment after yours. 🙂
Sorry for my frustration. Google is obnoxious and whereas its valid, it removes my site from the search term I want and I have to request reindexing every 24 hours. No other problems on the site except those stupid warnings, and with the warnings google does say a site may not be ranked as highly in searches 🙁
Keep on keeping on and just no my announce means a lot of people love this plugin. 🙂
