• THANK YOU for making this plugin. It’s so nice to have a solution that is lean and fast. I have some feature requests, in order of importance.

    1. Please create some sort of visual stand-in for this block in the editor. As it is now, it only shows for me in the Document Overview / outline view. Since I don’t see anything in the actual editor, it’s so easy to not realize one of these is in a post. A simple plain block would be great, and if you click it, it brings up the popup for editing… just like if you click the item in the outline view.
    2. Can you make it so that clicking a linked item within the popup also sets the cookie, as if the X was clicked? That way, I don’t see the promo again after favorably responding to it. Maybe this could be a toggle. Maybe clicking any child item of an item with a certain class applied to it can trigger the cookie. Then people can have some elements trigger it, and some not.
    3. In the way you have Triggers, with the sub-settings of Delay and Cookie Duration, would you add Schedule Display, with a Start Date and End Date, using date pickers?

Could you also allow for changing the colors on the close button? The circle and the X individually?

    Hi @nitrospectide

Thank you for the feedback. These are great ideas, I will see if I can get these rolled out here in the next release!

    Hi @nitrospectide

I released version 1.5.0 which includes a couple updates you might be interested in

First, this is not a complete solution to your first request, and something that existed in previous versions, but in the top right of the block editor is an icon you can click to quickly and easily see what modals are on the page:

    2. When a modal is set to show on page load, there is a new option called “Interaction sets cookie”, which means when a link inside a modal is clicked, or a form is submitted inside the modal, that will set the cookie to prevent the modal from appearing automatically again.

You can now control the color of the close icon as well.

Will be looking into item number 3 on your list here soon.

Fantastic! Thank you for the heads up.
