I have some news about the feature requests.
The mission statement of the Table Field is, that it should bring functionalities and a user-interface for tables, which a repeater field can not solve in a proper way.
Tables are a huge field of use cases and I guess, that you will send different kinds of feature requests. Thinking about and solving these requests, without losing the ease of use, will be a challenge and time consuming, more than I can handle as a free web developer. I decided to refine and keep the current Table Field in its features, and provide a separate pro version in future to meet the costs.
A couple days ago I started developing a pro version and it is promising so far. But building a stable service around it will take time and it is ready if it is.

It would be nice to have the text editor within table cell.
I´m working on making the WordPress editor available for editing table cells content. But I´m not sure about, if some features like Add Media makes sense in this context.
I agree. A basic text editor would work for this case. It only includes bold, link, list etc.

I just want you to know, that I´m making progress with the pro version. I underestimated the effort setting up a selling and service platform, licensing, handling german law´s and the new European-Vat rules since 2015. But this plugin is my main focus right know and I´m exited to get it in use.

Any update on the Pro version? I’d take a beta version if it’s available. I’m in desperate need of a rich text editor in table cells. I need to make it easy for my client to add bulleted lists inside the cells (and I have to do it tomorrow), and it looks like I’m going to be forced to use a repeater field.
