• Three things that would be useful. I put them in order of ease of programming.

    • On the Brute Force page make the IP links clickable to https://ipinfo.io/XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX for easy IP research
    • On the Brute Force page add checkmarks to the attempts rows and then press a button or select an action to add the respective IP addresses to the Blacklist
    • Add User names to a list so that if an IP tries to login as that user Loginizer automatically blocks them. I never keep Admin as a live user so any attempts to login to Admin are fraudulent and should result in blacklisting

    Hi Chris,

    Thank you for the suggestions.

1 and 2 we have noted and will be adding it soon.

    3. is already available in our pro version.

    Awesome on 1 and 2.

I do have the pro version, LOVE IT. I do see that 3 is available and as it turns out I have “admin” added to the auto blacklist list but I am getting IP’s that are trying “admin” but are not getting blocked.

    Please advise.

    Also, what does [login] mean?

    Chris

    Hi,

Regarding the login attempts with username admin you see one attempt per IP or more than one ? Because only after the 1st attempt Loginizer can find the IP and block it. If it is more than one attempt per IP please open a support ticket with us and we can check this further :

Regarding [login] can you please let us know where you see that ? I could not understand exactly what you are referring to.

What I am seeing is a login attempt with the user name Admin but I am not seeing that IP in the blacklist. Should I see them in the blacklist?

RE: [login] this is what I see on the failed login attempts log.

    Hi Chris,

I checked this further and found that if that “username” exists in the users list on your WordPress, that user and IP will not be blocked.

The username you are facing the issue with exists in your WordPress site’s users list ?
