    This is a great plugin. I’ve been using my own hacked version of it for a long time, and have just switched to the latest version.

    The Admin screen is a welcome addition, and I think the plugin would also benefit from being able to specify page background (ie. on the body tag) : background colour and background image.

    Also, being able to disable signup and password recovery links would be useful for sites that have custom registration / login on the front end of the site and don’t want people registering from the back end (for example, many premium themes use the email address as username, and if an account is created via backend the username will be incorrectly formed).

    I did consider changing the background colour on the page as well. This would also require changing the colour of the links below the login box.

    Hiding the links is an interesting idea but not sure how popular that would be.

    I’ll consider all of the above.

    I’ve made another update which changes things around a bit and adds a background colour option.

    Was the removal of the logo field intentional?

    Yes – it was. I had complaints that the plugin had changed too much so I decided to go back a step before too many people downloaded it. If you integrate the logo into the background image it should work in much the same way.

    I can’t say I agree with the reasoning in removing the best (imho) feature. Anyway, I much appreciate this plugin, and have rolled back to a hack of the previous version which suits my usage perfectly.

    could I ask why the previous version was better?

    What about having separate logo and background images is better than combining the two into a single image?
