Featured Content post formatting stripped

    I really like this plugin and have a good handle on getting things setup the way I want, but one thing I can’t figure out is how to bring in my original HTML formatting from my posts that are selected as Featured Content. It is being stripped and lumped into a single paragraph.

    For example:

    Some cool stuff.

    <cite>-A Cool Person</cite>

    Becomes:
    <p>Some cool stuff. – A Cool Person</p>

    I’ve lost the ability to break up paragraphs, etc. Where can I override this?
