Hi,
I really want to use libretto on my site. However, the featured image fills the area below the title whenever I specify a featured image.

I need to use the featured image in an automated email I send out when I post. It works great for that as I can specify the thumbnail as the featured image size for the email in that plugin.

But I don’t want that featured image in the masthead or any changes at all on the site because of the featured image. Is there any way to elimate its display yet keep it specified?

I tinkerd with the CSS and created a child theme to tinker with the code. All to no avail. I’m guessing a CSS pro will know what to do and it’ll be a simple thing.

Any ideas?

I had a tinker and was able to hide the featured image on single posts and the main blog page with the following snippet:

}

}

    left: inherit;
    position: inherit;

}

.libretto-has-header-image #masthead:after {
    background-image: inherit;
}

.libretto-has-header-image .title-block a, .libretto-has-header-image .title-block h1 a, .libretto-has-header-image .title-block h1, .libretto-has-header-image .title-block h3, .libretto-has-header-image .title-block .entry-meta {
    color: #a09a92;
}

.libretto-has-header-image .title-block .entry-meta a {
    color: #787065;
}

Try adding the above to your child theme’s style.css file and let us know how you get on.
