• Would it be possible to set the child post when broadcasting to use the original featured image instead of copying the featured image over too? I have a network of 159 websites and it is causing an enormous space issue and CPU usage as well. On the Syndicate plugin, which I used previously, the image was not copied, only the post and the featured image URL remained the same as the original post.

Not that I know of. The way WordPress images work is that they refer to a media ID. The ID is only valid on the current blog, so in order for a post to have a featured image with the ID 123, there has to be a media file on the same blog with the ID 123.

What would be interesting to know is how that Syndicate plugin solved the image problem. I don’t suppose you have such a post to show me, and, preferrably, what the post’s meta data looks like in the database. That would help immensely.
