    When you set a new featured image on a post and hit update, the whole site shuts down and displays a “This site cant be reached” error page. The front and back end are like this and it takes aabout 5 minutes before the site comes back up. Meanwhile the featured image is still not set.

    Also, disabled this plugin and it worked.

    I just tested this on default WP and there was no error or issue. Here is what I did:

    1. Activated DG plugin (so using Classic Editor)
    2. Created a new post, set featured image, clicked publish
    3. Created a new post, clicked publish, set featured image, clicked update
    4. Tested similar steps on existing posts

    Then I repeated these steps with the Gutenberg Block Editor. Everything working normally, no issues. These results can be verified on a default WP install running only the default plugins and Disable Gutenberg.

    If you are running other plugins, most likely there is a conflict somewhere. Or it could be theme-related, etc. If you want to continue using DG, you will need to troubleshoot to determine where/why the issue is happening.
