    Has that always been the case that you need to have a featured image to post? Also just had a real hard time with some pictures that have words on them being knocked back by instagram any one else have that

    Hi,

    Yes featured image is must. Without image, nothing can be posted to Instagram.

    About knocked back by Instagram, well Instagram can reject images which don’t comply with its policies. Please see details here https://help.instagram.com/477434105621119/

    There maybe another issue having special char in filenames of images or having long filenames of the image.

    Thanks for the reply. Although this starts to leave your plugin, but i am sure i found a plugin that somehow created a featured image from an embed image….. The other way i know is instead of sending the post directly to ones site it is sent to pinterest or tumblr then using IFtt it send to ones wordpress install that then creates a featured image and then sends to one instagram! Thats how us no coders do it LOL

    Now I got your question. I meant that image is must for Instagram and right now we take featured image.
    Whereas you want it should be any image in post. OK good. we will consider it for next release and hope you will keep enjoying the plugin 🙂
