Thanks for your question. Just to check, was the featured image option unchecked before or after you created the newsletter?
Once you’ve unchecked it, the changes will only take place for new newsletters you create and not previously created posts.
If you’d like to uncheck this on past posts, you can:
1. head into the post
2. scroll to the Send as newsletter section
3. Click on Edit more settings
4. Uncheck Featured image
Here’s a screenshot to show you where you can find this setting.

IMPORTANT
Please note that the option to add/remove featured images will be removed from the free version of the plugin as of 30 April. More information on this can be found on the Upgrade to pro tab inside our plugin settings.
Whatever options you’ve chosen will be retained, you just won’t be able to edit them going forward.
