Featured Image and Text

    My site has a sidebar that has a featured album. I display an image, the artist and album title. I change this every few months.
    What’s the best way to automate this? I don’t want to change every template each time I change titles.

    You can use a hidden categrory to story all the “featured” articles and style them different to fit in the sidebar, e.g., removing the post time and title.
    kitten’s show category plugin should be perfect for this task, though I havent tried it out myself.

    Right now I”m using a plugin that pulls the posts from my “musik” section and displays the last 5. I’m not sure how you structured it, but you could probably hack about a bit with it and use it as well.

    Note: the “li” in the plugin is screwing up my site in IE at the moment. Just FYI.
