Featured Image and Thumbnails

    Dear Customer Support,

    I am having a problem with the featured image.

    I want a thumbnail to show up on my sidebar so I realized the only way to do that is to set a featured image. When I set a featured image it then shows up in the thumbnail just fine but the featured image then shows up extremely large in the post. So then I have the featured image very large in the beginning of the post (which I don’t want) and then I also have my image in the regular size that I inserted.

    Can you please tell me how to fix this. I want the thumbnail, but I don’t want this image inserted into the top of my post and so large.

    Same issue. If you don’t set a featured image, then you can’t use the carousel. If you do, you get a huge image on the home page. But the featured image doesn’t show up on an article page, just the home page, so if you want art to show up everywhere you need to also insert an image into your post and then have two pieces of art.

    Hello

    do you have the latest version of the theme?
    If Yes, creation of the child theme, then in the content file – single.php and delete the code

    <?php if (has_post_thumbnail() )
                the_post_thumbnail();
                ?>
