Featured image changing size

I’ve looked through the forums but haven’t found an answer to this yet. My featured images are changing size from post to post. I manually resized the images to make sure that they are the same size in my media library. Has anyone had this experience? If compare the two posts below, you’ll see the difference. I prefer the former of the two but cannot get the images to behave the same.
