• I’m not sure if this is just a WordPress fix or a theme issue.

Prior to using the theme i’m using now, our featured images/ Title images had the size of 1155 x 650. That is what the free theme had in place.

However now we moved over to anew theme and it seems that the size it offers is not even half of that. To date we have more than 700 articles online, so having to go and manually resizing those images and then reuploading them is not an option.

Is there not a piece of code that i can use to help me sort this issue out?
The supplied link is to an example within a Review, here is another one for list view.

I’m write stuff and publish them, my experience with issues like these are very limited, i checked all the normal options to see if i could change it by changing settings, but it does not see likely.
I am aware that there is a color issue as well within the cover block making the review title very difficult to read. Also a issue i am looking into.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hello.
It appears that the gameaddict theme crops featured images at 817x320px.
You could try using a plugin like Simple Image Sizes to modify the featured image size and then regenerate all featured images.
However since this is a theme issue and the theme is a commercial product you should ask the theme’s developer for more help, they should be able to guide you through this and offer the optimal solution.
Whicever road you decide to take make sure you backup your entire site & database along with your original images just to be safe.

Thank you for the feedback, unfortunately we weren’t the original purchasers of this theme, so we cannot ask for support since we cannot provide them with proof purchase.

The theme works for what we do, but it has a lot of lacking elements, so we have actually started looking at buying something else. Just wanted to know if a line of code couldn’t help with the display issues we have.

But thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated.
