featured image displaying very small

Hi, I’m very pleased with Blog Designer plugin which I use to display news posts on my home page. I have it configured to show one column of posts with a featured image alongside each (https://strathdearn.org/).
However today the featured image is displaying very small on the latest post. Scroll down the page – it should be on the same scale as all the other images. I’ve used the same image before to accompany a post and it has displayed at normal size.
Any suggestions gratefully received 🙂

I’ve found the problem. The post contained a Zoom link. When I removed it, the featured image displayed at the correct size; when I reinstated it, the image was tiny again.
After some experimentation, my best guess is : The Zoom link was at the beginning of the post – in the displayed text excerpt. It consists of 74 characters – too many to be contained in one line of the usual layout and there is no natural place for Blog Designer to break the text string. This forced BD to make the text line longer than its usual layout and so the image was scaled down to fit.
