Featured Image isn’t duplicated

    Hi,
    I recently started to manage a website of a client which had WordPress 4.3.9 and your plugin and worked like a charm. Last month I updated all plugins and the WordPress version to the latest 4.7.3 and now when he goes to duplicate a post all is duplicated except for the featured image. I have updated to the latest version the plugin, checked permissions and verified that Featured Image is selected in settings. I also tried to deactivate and reactivate the plugin like suggested in some posts but the problem persists. How could I try to resolve the issue? Thanks a lot

    Hi,
    sorry for the delay in answering.

    That’s really strange, can you answer to these questions to help me find out what’s happening?

    • Do you have, by chance, _thumbnail_id in the Do not copy these fields textbox?
    • Does it happen only for posts, or for pages or custom type posts too?
    • Are you using any plugin which deals with featured images in any way?
    • Do you have access to the server’s error log to look for messages related to the issue?
    • Can you look at the checkbox labelled Attachments in the settings? Is it checked or not?

    • no, it’s empty
    • I cannot answer, my client uses your plugin for posts

    • I will check if it’s possible. It’s an Aruba hosting.
    • It’s unchecked

    May help if I try to uninstall and reinstall the plugin? Or there is some risk?
