    Hi,

I have a property web in two languages. I have translated it from English into Spanish and I installed your plugin to create featured images in Spanish (most of properties don’t have featured images).

I select ‘Set the first post image as featured image’ and ‘Post type filter’ (properties, in this case). When I arrive to the Previw filtering, Future Featured Image column shows ‘no image’ for every single property.

If I select the featured image in a single spanish property (in the administration), I can select it from the images in that post and it shows fine.

I’m using WPML to translate my site, is this plugin compatible?
Is there anything else to do before use the plugin?

I hope you can help to find out what’s wrong.

    Many thanks

Are they external images, i.e. images not in the media library and delivered from another domain than the website?

The plugin does not consider those images.

The plugin is compatible with WPML. The images have to be uploaded into the media library of the website and embedded via the media uploader into post contents – that is the requirement for the option “first image as featured image”.

    Thanks for your quick answer.

When I click in ‘Insert Media’ in a property, and I select ‘Uploaded to this post’ I can see the images for the property, they are shown in a slider. Considering your explanation, I should click in ‘Insert into post’ the images, so the photos would be in the post content and the plugin would work. But this doesn’t work for me because I don’t need to insert into the post the images.

Is there any way to get the featured images for the properties using your plugin? I have more than 1200 Spanish properties so your plugin would be a great solution for me.

    Thanks

No, there are thousands of plugins embedding images in their way. This plugin only considers images embedded by the WP standard way via the button above the editor.

I would think about implementing support for other plugins if I would publish a chargable version of this plugin…
