Featured image – field resolution missing in template for single posts
-
I am switching a site from classic theme Fukisawa to block theme Hideo and the biggest problem I currently have is with featured images.
The Hideo-theme chooses a thumbnail (88x88px) as source image for the wide featured image block and therefore the image is very pixelated and does not look good.
In the templates for blog home and archive pages I can select the featured image in the query loop and then in the block inspector change the
ResolutiontoFull Size(Screenshot). Problem solved. In the template for single posts, however, I can select the featured image, but the field for
Resolutiondoes not show up in the block inspector and so I cannot change it to Full size. Weirdly enough the fieldResolutionis listed and checked when I click on the 3-dot-menu in that block inspector section. It is just not visible ((Screenshot, also see UPDATE in my following post). Is there a way to solve this problem and change the resolution for the featured image in single posts?
