I started using the theme recently and it’s simlpy great!

There’s one thing I need some help with:
I use the default template for all blog posts.
The post’s featured image is displayed in full width at the top.
I’d like it to be displayed in its original size, rather than stretched to full width.

Is there a way to do that?
(otherwise I’d have to resize all of my featured images, because they’re not large enough and look bad on the desktop version).

Hi @talb
You probably need an update of the theme, this described full width is only with one of these full widthtemplate options
With the default template, your featured picture isn’t in full width, take a look to my article here https://www.ljvd.com/les-plugins-wordpress-632/

Thanks for your answer @ljvd .

I do have the latest version of the theme, yet the featured image is 1400px wide, while the original image is only 600px wide.
Perhaps “full width” isn’t the correct term, but in any case, it isn’t the original width, so it looks bad on the desktop version.

Here’s an example of a post using the default template:

On the archive pages, the featured images are displayed in their original size, for example:
https://brightnomad.net/tag/flights/

I’d like the featured image in the post to appear in its original 600px size as well. Is that doable?

It’s a template design choice, take advantage of the additional css feature
```
.featured-media img {
    width: auto;
}
```
