Yes, features image should display in the post. You need to make sure that you have set the settings correctly.
If you still face any issue, you can check theme and plugin conflict on your site. In order to check theme/plugin conflict, you have to temporarily activate the twenty nineteen theme and keep the plugins deactivated temporarily except for WPUF. Then try to check if you can see the featured image by submitting a new post. You will be able to reactivate your theme and plugins after checking the issue.
