Featured Image Not Scaling

Hey,

At the moment, when I publish an article and have a featured image that’s lower resolution (small sized image) , it stays the same size and does not scale up to fit the article boarder.

is it possible to have it where all small images in featured image to be scaled up? scaled up automatically on all current and future articles.
