Featured image not sizing correctly

    I am new to blogging, wordpress, etc. I downloaded Kale and have set all of my featured images. All but two show 5312×2988 for dimensions. The other two are 2988×5312. I put these images on the slider and the two 2988×5312 images are HUGE. I tried to resize but then it crops it to where you see the middle of the picture and not the entire picture. I tried to crop myself and save and it does not work. I tried to regenerate the photo but it does nothing.

    The other featured images turn out well, just these two and I am at my wit’s end! I have Recent Posts Widget With Thumbnails and Regenerate Thumbnails plugins installed. Do I need these or is this what is screwing me up?

    The one showing currently in question on my slider is the pura sport bottle.

    Hello @christianmom I am looking at your site and the slider looks fine to me? The theme resizes the images to match the perfect size for the slide items. Can you show me what’s wrong with a screenshot?
