Featured image on events listing

Hi there,

Blown away by this plugin, I am so impressed and this will make my life so much easier.

One issue I am having is controlling the featured image. I want to replicate what happens on this page http://demo.wp-events-plugin.com/events/ where the featured image from the event, regardless of size, is presented as a thumbnail in the events list. The featured image on the event page itself is obviously much larger than the one present in the search.

I noticed in the source that they are different images. What is the best way to handle this, as I can obviously only have one featured image, which would either be a large one for the event page, or a small one for the listings page.
