Featured Image on Published Post Gone

    The article class=”has-post-thumbnail” gets stripped the moment a revision is created (from the currently published post). This results in the featured image no more showing on the category/front page.

    The featured image does appear on the revision version and will be published once the revision is approved. But until then the featured image on the live site is missing.

    Tried so far: all other plugins uninstalled, switched to default Twenty Twenty theme, cleared cache. Nothing works.
