Featured issue on multilanguage site

    Hi all,
    I’m setting up my blog with WP 4.1, 2014 theme, and WPML 2.0.4.1.
    Everything works fine, except the Featured area.
    The main language of the blog is English, and the Featured area correctly shows the posts in English that have the featured tag.
    But, when I switch to another language there’s no Fatured area, even though there ARE posts in the other languages tagged as featured.

    Any workaround?

    Update: deactivating JetPack the Featured area shows up in all languages, but there is still a problem: all posts with the featured tag are shown in the Featured area regardless of their language. I.e. when the language is set to English it shows featured posts in English, Spanish and French.
