    Hi Jacob: I hope you had a terrific vacation.

    I’ve encountered another problem with Featured Photos and not sure what I’m doing incorrectly. We would like the following:
    1. Display one photo with the caption/description underneath
    2. Utilize the “Photo of the Day” with the photo changing with every page view.
    3. Include ONLY Featured photos from multiple albums.

    SCRIPT vs SHORTCODE: The script code work correctly, but the shortcode commands do not. We like the display from the shortcode.

    Problem:
    1. Unable to select “Photo of the Day Widget Settings” / “Use Albums” – “Featured photos” item.

    2. Tried including the “album=#featen” command in the shortcode, but it’s not working correctly in that photos not marked as Featured are included.

    Include ONLY Featured photos from multiple albums.

    will be added in a future version.

    A status filter will be added in the next version.

    Note that photo="#potd" can not be combined with any album spec, neither real nor virtual. The selection of the photo of the day is entirely controlled by the settings on the Photo Of The Day admin page.

    Thank you for your responses – especially clarifying that photo=#potd setting are from the ‘Photo of the Day admin’ page. I keep trying to change the “Use Albums – Select” to Featured, but it’s not working.

    This is what is happening:

    1. Photo Albums > Photo of the Day > Use Album(s): > Select: > ‘-start over-‘ : all thumbnails disappear and the ‘Or edit:’ box is blank.

    2. Photo Albums > Photo of the Day > Use Album(s): > Select: > ‘-featured photos-‘ : ‘clr’ shows up in the ‘Or edit:’ box. No thumbnails appear.

    3. When ‘Update Thumbnails’ is clicked ‘clr’ disappears and no thumbnails are displayed.

    Hope this helps.

    Question: Is there some other place where settings that controls this selection? Such as…

    Current Settings Table VI:A:1 => Link type = the content of the album ; Link page =Photo of the day

    Also tried Table VI:A:1 => Link Type = defined on widget admin page and had the same results.

    does not work.

    pls update to 6.3.1 and try again. there is a new selection box for status.
