Featured post description problem

Hi, when I have placed a couple of images in the featured posts part of Accesspress Lite, the description on the homepage is displaying the gallery code (as you can see below). Does anyone know how I can prevent the gallery code from being displayed? I have tried putting
tags in the code before the gallery to see if it will stop the code from being displayed but it doesn’t work. Does anyone else have any other ideas?
