Could you provide a link to your WordPress.com site so I can see what featured-content tag you’ve used and whether it carried over to your self-hosted site?

Could you please double-check that the featured-content tag you entered in the Customizer exactly matches the tag you’ve used on your posts, including the capitalization?

I checked. They both match.
My customizer says: Easily feature all posts with the “featured” tag or a tag of your choice. Your theme supports up to 6 posts in its featured content area.
All my posts which i want to use in my featured content, also have the “featured” tag.
All in lower case. But its still not appearing 🙁
Oh, I just added “featured” in the place holder in the customizer and its working. Thank you so much for you help. My issue is resolved 🙂
