Featured Posts Plugin

Hello,

I’m looking for a simple way to feature posts in the sidebar just like http://thesuperficial.com does. I know there are flash based plugins but I don’t want to use flash, just a simple plugin to feature six posts or more using thumbnails that link to the actual post, with a customizable title underneath.

Any ideas? I’m willing to pay or sponsor someone who can develop a little tool that does the work without hassle if it doesn’t exist.
