Featured Video Plus not working

    Hello,

    thanks for this great template!
    I tried to publish a video instead an featured article image with the plugin Featured Video Plus: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/featured-video-plus/#description

    Unfortunately it is not working. Instead of the video the featured image is shown. With other templates everything is all right. Do you have a hint for me? Is there an alternative to show a featured video?

    Do you still have a featured image set for the post you have the video on? Did you add the video with the shortcode or? If you still have a featured image set for that particular post, I would suggest removing that to see if that fixes the issue.

    I did notice in the description for the plugin the following (my emphasis).

    Another common problem are sliders: Videos, in general, do not like sliders at all.

    No, I hav’nt set a featured image set and I tried to add the video with the shortcode. When entereing the shortcode, the video is shown in the main text area but not in the featured “image” position.

    Perhaps it’s not possible to show the video in the featured position with the dyad template.

    Hi there – you might try asking for help on the plugin side to see if they have any clues about why it’s not working with Dyad.
