Please check the following plugins and add these two feature in your plugin.
So all features related to external links will be available in one plugin.

Check These Plugins :

Add these two features, for example:
1- To make external links as internal links
http://www.mysite.com/goto/http://external-link.com
And
2- hide referrer of external link
http://www.hide-referrer.com/?http://external-link.com
OR
http://www.anonymous-etc.com/?http://external-link.com
