    Hi

My Optimole account has unexpected surge of traffic while customer pattern remains. As I am investigating this problem with help of Optimole support, I came up with features that may be useful to have. This is my wishlist

    1. An option not to serve images from CDN for logged-in admin users.
    2. Provide a way to get an alert when surge of traffic is detected. In my case I would set an alert if traffic exceeds, say, 30% from same period last year. They only “alert” one gets is when quota is exceeded!
    3. A way to see traffic source hitting CDN.

The problem with CDN is that traffic effectively bypasses original server, making it impossible to filter based on CDN domain. So, better visibility into this traffic will be an advantage

    Hi @rudolfl,

Thank you for sharing your feature request with us.

We have noted your suggestions and will forward them to our development team for review. I also wanted to clarify a few points:
    1. Quota Notifications – We do send notifications before you reach your quota limit. These emails are sent to your account-registered email before you exceed the quota, so you are not notified only after exceeding it.
    2. Visitor Counting – If you’re concerned that logged-in users trigger a new count every time they visit the site, please note that this is not the case. Visits are counted only once per day per user, and we’ve explained this in detail here:
👉 How Optimole Counts the Number of Visitors.

Regarding your active support ticket, we encourage you to continue the conversation through our support system to avoid confusion, as discussing the details both in the forum and via email can lead to miscommunication.

We appreciate your efforts and understanding on this matter. Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Best regards,
