Hi, in the mean time I’ve realised how the featured images work and I would just like to say that everything works fine and my question was totally irrelevant (sorry!).
The thing is that I was expecting a featured image of a certain page to appear at the top of the page (as at some themes does) but in Accelerate it appears in the widgets areas and elsewhere.
So everything OK with Accelerate.
That’s it?
The featured image doesn’t appear at the top of the page (as at some themes does)?
It’s not possible!
Please, there must be a way to solve it.

It is possible 🙂
It’s the way Accelerate theme works.
Why?
What would you like to do?
I would like the featured image appear at the top of the posts as some themes does.
Is there some way to do this with Accelerate theme?

As far I’ve researched – half a year ago, though – it is not possible to do it.
Featured image shows up in widgets – you know what I mean?
I found what I wanted.
It’s here.
Search the post with code where the member Vadim V says:
“There styles are spelled wrong.
Here is the code without the styles:
/wp-content/themes/accelerate/content-single.php”

Hey,
That (Vadim’s code) is a really useful trick.
I’m certainly going to use it and make my posts look more interesting.
Thanks for telling me about it.
That’s Ok Vadim V.
I understood you.
Thanks for your contribution.
