“feed items” not visible in Posts area

    A while ago I installed the plugin and all feeds were correctly added as WordPress Posts. But since 2 weeks, it stopped. I see new articles in the “Feed items” of the RSS Aggregator section, but they do not show up as posts.

    Any idea why? I already tried to reinstall WordPress, but none of the RSS feed items can be used as Posts, but they do show up fine in the “Feed items” section.

    Hi @rolfski,

    Are you using our Feed to Post add-on, by any chance?

    If so, please check if you have the Post Type setting set correctly to “Post” and not “Feed Item”.

    Hello Eric,

    No, I do not use the Feed to Post. Only the “WP RSS Aggregator” plugin. When using it, all feed items listed in the “Feed items” section automatically were added as posts. But since October I do see them in the feed items, but no posts are created.

    I already deleted all posts and feed items, even reinstalled the plugin. But feeds do not show up as posts anymore.

    Hi @rolfski,

    Not sure how do you get this:

    When using it, all feed items listed in the “Feed items” section automatically were added as posts.

    Without Feed to Post and only with the core WP RSS Aggregator plugin, you can only import as Feed Items and it’s not possible to import as Posts.

    Are you looking for a way to display the feed items in your post/page using the shortcodes, by any chance?

    No, it seems that I used a different plugin to import posts. I thought that RSS Importer did it. So problem solved. :-). You can remove this support item if you want.
