Feed to include translated files

    Hi,

    Just installed the plugin and activated Translate.
    Is there a way to have the feed only include files with the translations of a certain language?

    For example, I’d use this plugin to create a podcast of translated transcripts. (I already record an English version old school with my own voice 🙂

    Hi,
    Good questions. Currently not. Podcast functionality is not connected with Translate one, and XML feed will be based on ‘default’ language. But this is something which we have heard already a couple of times, so definitely we will be working on it in future.

    Is there a way to download the translated files or stream these? (EDIT: download through S3, found that. Can’t find a way to create a player, tho)

    For example, would I be able to create a special page with the Spanish player?

    Or as a work around : can I download the files and manually upload them somewhere to include them in a feed? Or is that not allowed in Translate and Polly’s Terms of Service?

    This time the response was slower 😉

    So the plugin in current version works like this, that you are able to click on ‘Spanish’ button (if you enabled Translate), and then you should be able to see a spanish text AND player should be able to play spanish audio. Other language audios are saved next to original files (if this is S3 or local WP server).

    You can download all files and use it as you like (I’m assuming those are your files of course 😉 ).
