Done some digging and there are several messages recorded in my server error log when an update is attempted. I have a pro license so will send them to you via support ticket on your site. Hopefully it will help to rectify this for other users experiencing the same.
In the meantime, rolling back to 7.4.63 is a temporary fix.

Hi @nanasflowers,
Thanks a lot for taking the time to dig into this and for sharing such detailed findings, that’s really appreciated.
We’re already actively working on this issue on our end, and the server error logs you sent via the support ticket were very helpful in speeding things up and making sure the fix covers all affected cases.
Rolling back to v7.4.63 is a good temporary workaround for now. We’re hoping to have a proper fix ready and released shortly, and we’ll keep you posted as soon as it’s available.
Thanks again for your patience and for helping us improve the plugin.
Best Regards,

Hi @nanasflowers,
Just a quick update on this.
We’ve released a fix in v7.4.65 (2026-02-10) that addresses the issue you reported:
Bug Fix: Resolved a PHP Fatal Error caused by strpos() receiving an array instead of a string during feed updates.
Could you please update the plugin to 7.4.65 and check whether the hourly refresh is now working properly on your end?
Let me know if you’re still facing any issues after updating, we’ll jump straight in if anything looks off.
Thanks again for your help while we tracked this down 🙌
Best Regards,
– PFM Support Team
