Revive sounded like a good idea to me since I have a lot of posts that are worth reading but are “old”.
-Revive got me suspended on different social networks.
-My server doesn’t respond because Revive uses so much of its RAM that normal requests are blocked. Getting 403 errors a lot. This was also checked by my provider.
-Every of the two happened way too often and cost me a lot of energy and effort to fix.

Revive got itself deleted due to this. Sorry. The plugin failed.

@aclys Can you let us know which social networks? ROP is not doing anything out of the ordinary to share posts. We use the APIs provided by the social networks and have approved and elevated apps by all but one (Pinterest).

If your account was suspended it can be a few things:

    – The content you were sharing was against the policy of the social network
    – You were sharing too often to the social network and might have gotten throttled/restricted for a while.
    – The content you were sharing was deemed malicious, this happens in cases where sites get hacked and malicious code is added on the site, and networks such as Facebook detect this and block the site/account from sharing.

How many posts do you have on your website? Error 403 is a “Forbidden” error, meaning your server is forbidding the request, this can happen for a number of reasons including a poor hosting environment or your server dropping connections too quickly.

We can take a closer look into all these issues for you to help determine the real cause as none seem related to the plugin itself. You can send us a direct ticket here: https://revive.social/direct-support

@uriahs-victor – It was Pinterest, then I tried FB and Twitter.
Sharing without a tool haven’t caused a problem. I started with Revive, I was getting errors, and my accounts temporarily disabled. Until I solved and cleared things up.

    I auto-posted every 7-8 hours.

The hosting provider says, and they were right, it was a plugin. After deleting yours, it worked better. With the typical glitches. There’s no perfect hosting environment.

@aclys We can’t say for sure what’s happening without seeing logs from the plugin or checking out your environment. If you’d like us to look into this more for you then please send us the support ticket so we can take a closer look into your setup.

@uriahs-victor – No, I have de-installed the plugin. That’s why I know, what happened. Also, my provider – hosting – says the RAM use is now lower.

That’s strange. I have been using this plugins for many years, but I haven’t had anything of what you described here. I share every 6 hours and no problems (except after the last update, but that was fixed after I reinstalled the plugin).

@okoth1 – That is fine with me. Have fun with the plugin.

@aclys – Thank you. Have fun too, without the plugin πŸ˜‰
