Hello! I am setting up a simple import from an RSS feed using Feedzy Lite. All seems to be working, however, the plugin keeps stopping after importing 5 items. I checked the feed and there are 20 items in the xml file – Feedzy even sees the full list of items in the “preview import” setting. No matter how many times I run it, it only shows the most recent 5 items. Is this a limitation with the Lite subscription? Thanks for the help.

    Hi,

There is no limitation for 5 items. If you get 5 items imported it means that those were the only posts that Feedzy was able to find based on the source and the filters you’ve set in the plugin.

If you can share the source that you’ve used, and some screenshots of the settings you have in the import, I can try that too.

    Thank you!

    Thank you for the help!

    This is the feed: https://rss.beehiiv.com/feeds/oqeBbJvAOa.xml

I tested out a different feed as well and it also had the 5 post limit so it must be something with my setup.

I have no filters set, general feed settings are all set to the defaults, advanced settings has “remove duplicates” toggled on, and is set to original feed order.

I’ve tried Purge & Reset and it finds 5 posts. After that initial run, it continues to say 5 found, 5 duplicates, 5 imported, 5 cumulative. The only odd thing I can find is in the logs it says “Unable to find an image for 5 out of 5 items imported” though the posts are pulling in the original images so I’m not sure what that is referring to.

Are there other settings I can look into to share? Thanks again.

    Hi,

After double-checking the current limitations of the Lite version, I realized I steered you slightly wrong—the free version does indeed have a limit on the number of posts imported per feed.

My apologies for the confusion there! If you need to import more items than the current limit allows, the Pro version would be the way to go.

Let me know if you have any other questions about the setup!
