[field excerpt] not removing HTML?

    Could you check [field excerpt], I don’t think it is
    (a) Stripping HTML
    (b) Truncating at 25 words

    This is with a custom post, and “more” seems to make no difference.

    I want to remove HTML, ie html=false, but my HTML is not being removed by default.

    Adding html=true, stripped the html tags.

    Sorry, false report. When I use any of the following:

    [field excerpt]
    [field excerpt html=true]
    [field excerpt html=false]
    [field excerpt format=false]

    I always see as output: <p></p><p>Some text</p>

    I can’t get the HTML tags to be stripped out.
