    Thanks for this plugin.

    Just wanting to know I can use the code editor on the page to change the meta name for a new item.

    We have a plugin that asks for US Tax number that does not work with blocks and I thought we could duplicate that and have it appear where it needs to later.

    Thank you for your message.

    Unfortunately, the plugin doesn’t support this yet. The addition of this feature is reported to programmers, but we do not know the date of its implementation.

    I will add you to the list of customers interested in this functionality and I will inform you when it happens.

    So I just went to code view and edited the meta data for the new field and it seems to be working fine.

    No idea why the meta field edit is locked.

    Hi @bigtrousers

    The meta field is always locked after a new field is first created.

    Editing is locked because when someone places an order, an entry with the meta name appears in the database. If it is changed, the old order meta is saved with a name that no longer exists, and there may be a problem displaying the metadata from existing orders.
