Actually I can see the issue looks to be from your plugin.
I’m unable to reproduce any console error on the browser and all works fine: comments are correctly sent. The only issue is some hidden field that is showed when a empty comment is sent. This happen also because I’m using the plugin Ajaxify Comments – Ajax and Lazy Loading Comments but the hidden field showed is from your plugin.

There may be a conflict between those plugins. I suggest you try our free plugin, Antibots, and install our free Site-Checkup plugin. Also, try marking “No” in the “Protect Forms” option.

This new plugin seems nice but doesn’t work.

Maybe as you told some conflicts.
I will try to go for a while without stop bad bot.
