Field Type for Post ID

    It would be nice if there was a field type that returned a post id (for any content type). I see two choices for configuring the field, one would be to select the post type and the other would be the control type the user sees, select or autocomplete.

    Such a field would be very useful with shortcut codes that take a post id.
