    Hello,

I hear that on new WordPress sites
the details for user_login and the user_pass in the table wp_users must be included in in the table wp_usermeta.

I see in the table wp_usermeta there are no fields created in wp_usermeta for user_login and user_pass .

Can anyone please inform how to best proceed to get the fields included in the table user_usermeta?

I am not conversant with wp_cli.

    I am using Localhost.

    Many thanks

    John H

You should not have to edit the WordPress database or tables when setting up a new WordPress installation.

Are you having an issue with setting up WordPress or the install process?

The software for this site was downloaded about 3 months ago and I heard that
“the details for user_login and the user_pass in the table wp_users must be included in in the table wp_usermeta.”
    Is that the case please?
    Apologies for the late reply

    Thanks

No, you never have to do that. Where did you hear that?
