fields not showing

Hey, i have 2 problems:
1. i have a user 2 user roles in my site: students and teachers, for the student user role it shows the user description both in edit and view mode but for the teacher role the user description doesn’t appear, i checked the setting and the user description is enabled.
2. i have a multi select field that contains a lot of options it shows on edit mode but on view mode only this field doesn’t show, and all the other fields do, i checked the setting and it’s on view every where and visible for everyone
